Today,Nifty Opened on subdued note around 4690 and gone down to a low of 4670 .Moved in the range of 4670 to 4690 , briefly touched 4700 and fallen. In the last hour of trade,Nifty showed further weakness and fallen to a low of 4640.Finally closed around 4645.

Today, Nifty Opened above 4750 but could not sustain that level. By afternoon, slipped to 4700 level  and  made a low of 4687.Made a couple of spurts to 4720 level but could not hold on to . Eventually closed around 4705 in the End.Tomorrow is last day/Settlement day for the DEC series.

26th Dec 11(Mon) Nifty Option Chain

Today, Nifty Opened above its close on Friday and moved to 4740 level in the morning. steadily inched up to 4760 level. in the after noon broke above 4770 and about an half an hour before the close made day's high of 4786 and closed around 4775.Major European Markets are closed today.

Here is a Nifty Option of 26th Dec 11(Mon). 4700 put, 4800 put have seen OI build up and 4800 call, 4900 call have seen OI build up.Given the nature of options, the strategies can be many in this range.But with today's Nifty Performance 4700 seems to be good support for the remainder of series. 3 more session are left in this series.

23rd Dec 11(Fri) Nifty Option Chain

Hi,

Today, Nifty Opened above 4750 around 4763 but could not sustain.Came below 4750 to 4730 where it got support. Moved between 4730 to 4750 till the afternoon . moved up in the afternoon session and came close to the day's high of 4760 around 1.30. Selling pressure ensued and Nifty came below 4730 and kept making new lows till 4695 in a choppy trade .In the last half an hour made a recovery and closed above 4700 around 4715. whether this is profit booking or selling pressure will continue remains to be seen.

4700 Puts saw good addition of OI and 4800 call, 4900 call has seen good addition of OI.Based on this data , Nifty movement in the range of 4700 to 4800 expected.Next week is settlement week.It is highly probable Nifty would be volatile.

22nd Dec 11(Thurs) Nifty Option Chain

Nifty today, Opened gap down and went down to 4750 levels.got support there and moved to 4670 levels in the morning session. In the afternoon session, went down again and touched a new low of 4640 or so. After Europe Markets opened around 1.30 Nifty Picked up well and gained momentum, kept going up till 4740 which is Day's high. Gap between day's low and day's high is almost 100 points.Nifty finally closed around 4730 level.

Today , Nifty Opened gap up around 4630 and dropped close 4600 in the morning.But did not break the 4600 and  Went up to 4630 levels in the afternoon session and stayed around those levels till 2 clock or so Around 2.45 dropped to 4610 level but rocked from there to above 4700 level and close at day's high 4704.

here is Nifty Option Chain of 21st Dec 11(Wed).

4600 Calls have seen Good amount of reduction in OI. On day, when Nifty has ended on bullish note,easy to assume it call buyers are booking profit and call writers are covering their shorts.Also, 4600 , 4700 Puts have seen good OI build up. I think put writers are confident that this bullish momentum would continue for some more time.

Today, Nifty Opened gap down below 4600 and moved down to 4560 level in the morning session.recouped and traded in a range of 4570 to 4590 for most of the day. In the final hour, made a dash beyond 4600 to 4620 and closed around 4613.

4700 puts shed good amount of open interest. 4400 puts added OI. calls from 4600 to 5000 have added OI.

16th Dec 11(Fri) Nifty Option Chain

Hi,

Today, Nifty Opened around 4750 went up immediately towards 4800.crossed 4800 and got resisted at 4812 in the morning session. Moving in the range of 4790-4812 till the RBI policy is out. RBI kept the status quo. no change in interest rates.no change in the CRR. Market swiftly  came down to 4780 levels immediately after the RBI policy is announced. Nifty recovered smartly and went on to touch 4815 levels and it appeared like market is taking the policy in its stride. Selling pressure was exerted from 2 p.m or so and Nifty kept sliding from there without any stops. Broke the important supports of 4730, 4700 and 4650 on its way down. No recovery in the close and finally closed at 4650 , a 25 month low.

Today , Nifty Opened weak in the morning and has gone below 4700 to 4680 level in the morning session. Steadily recovered and moved above 4700 by afternoon. Gradually went up to 4665 level and closed around 4645 level. No change in the 4700 Put position and today 4700 acted as good support on closing basis. Tomorrow, Dec 16th, RBI policy will be announced which may affect the market sentiment,especially ,if RBI comes up with a positive surprise. we will know by afternoon tomorrow.
