Today, ( the day on which Union Budget is presented ) Nifty Opened gap up around 5410. Touched a high of 5344 during the budget speech. See sawed during and after the budget speech and finally drifted lower and closed around 5310 or so.

Nifty opened around 5440 . RBI policy proved to be a non event as there is no rate cut or CRRCut from RBI. Nifty dropped to a low of 5360 and closed around 5380.

Hi,

Nifty had a very volatile session today. Opened around 5360 level and within minutes has fallen to 5320 level. recovered and pivoted around 5330 for sometime , moved swiftly higher to touch 5390 by 12 p.m. Encountered selling pressure and fallen to 5330 level again in the afternoon. Recovered and closed around 5360 level.

Today, Nifty Opened gap up and touched 5450 around 10.30. Encountered resistance and see sawed between 5400 and 5430 or so till afternoon session. In the afternoon, broke 5400 and fallen to 5360 level. Closed around 5380 level in the end.

Nifty Today crossed important resistance of 5400. In today's session it seesawed between recent range of 5340 to 5370 till the afternoon. After the Europe markets opened it has fallen to 5340 level and very swiftly recovered. Moved past 5400 around 2.30 or so , touched a high of 5420 and closed at 5412.

Nifty Opened around 5340 today and steadily moved up. After Europe markets opened up, it suddenly spurted to 5395 or so. But did not sustain the highs. sudden selling pressure brought it down to 5330 level which is acting as very good support in the last few sessions. in the last hour Nifty regained its strength ,moved up and closed around 5370 level.

Today Nifty Made couple of attempts to move beyond 5400 but could not succeed . Came to a low of 5330 and closed around 5335. In the past 2 sessions 5330 area acted as good support and 5400 seems to be resistance. The range of around 70 pts seems to be a narrow range for nifty to move. hence a break out may occur in the next few sessions.

Today moved in a narrow range. Opened well above 5250 and moved up to 5285 level in the morning session. Court verdict on cancellation of 2G licences has brought the Nifty to 5230 level. Nifty today had a bullish day and decisively crossed the 200 dma around 5210.this is a Significant feat nifty is able to achieve. Nifty Opened soft in the morning and dropped to 5160 level in the morning. Recovered slowly and after Europe markets are opened made a dash past 5200 and never looked back till the end of session. Finally it closed around 5235 level.

Nifty had a very bullish day crossing important resistance of 5100 comfortably and closing above it.
Courtesy, RBI's positive surprise announcement of CRR cut by .5%.

Nifty opened around 5050 and hung around that level till the RBI policy announced.It shot past 5100 after the announcement.
On the whole, Jan series turned out to be a very bullish series. Congratulations , if you have been consistently long in this series.
